Inspired by Al Pittman’s ‘Dance of the Mayflies’, Mayflies Digital is a series of digital dances created for social media release- each dance is at once here and gone again.

Our fifth annual digital Mayflies series can be viewed via Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube each weekday starting November 2024.

Mayflies Digital artists are offered an artist fee and artistic, production, and editing support.

The compact structure of Mayflies Digital encourages movers to take risks and consider how dance on film might impact their current practice. It also deepens the potential for audience reach and engagement and fosters connections with future collaborators and producers.
